Meet the key members of our team:

Chris Turner

Chris Turner, BSc, MCMI, General Manager

I’m responsible for all aspects of running the company. Prior to joining Universal dB in 1995, I held senior management roles in various industries, including oil exploration. Outside of work, I enjoy walking in the Lake District hills, playing and watching sport, especially football and listening to a wide variety of music.

Paul Thorpe

Paul Thorpe, Laboratory Manager

I’m responsible for the day-to-day running of the laboratory and all aspects of quality control. Prior to joining Universal dB in 1984, I trained and worked at the Manchester Dental School. At Universal dB, I have worked across every area of earmould production before becoming Laboratory Manager. I’m a member of the British Society of Audiology (BSA), a Qualified Dental Technician, a Qualified Otoscopy and Impression Taker and a Qualified First Aider. Outside of work I enjoy the gym, music, DIY and sport, especially football and snooker. I am an NVQ Level 3 Safety Steward at Old Trafford football ground and a lifelong fan of Manchester United!

Our Customer Services and Administration team is committed to maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service. They deal with customer queries and do everything they can to ensure that our products arrive on time, every time.
